Dev Diary #1 - Eggs in the Poster
Hi, Lark here. I’m making a game called Dragon Gold. A few days ago, there were actually eggs hidden in the game poster I released.
Those with sharp eyes can see 6 figures.
Who are the six figures
Looking at the poster above, it’s not hard to brainstorm the following scenario: The 6-person adventure team delves into the dungeon and goes through many trials and tribulations to finally enter the treasure-filled chamber. “Who is it, interrupting my beautiful dream! Ho-” But an evil dragon is guarding this place, and the battle is about to begin.
No more secrets, the six figures are the adventurers in our game. They have their own different professions. The team started out as soldiers, the other five professions are added one after the other as the story progresses.
Learn more about them
I’ve put together a table from which you can get basic information about the six adventurers. The three in the table were revealed early, honestly, they fit my personal aesthetic. Of course, this isn’t the final version, if there are constant objections from players, we are going to give them a facelift.
I have designed 3 active skills and 3 passive skills for each adventurer.
The skills have the following features:
● Slot machine spins release skills if you win!
● The bigger win, the more powerful the skills you unleash.
● Multiple adventurers winning at the same time results in a special linking skill!
● You can level up skills to enhance their effectiveness
Adventurers can also wear a variety of gear to enhance their attributes, this will be covered in more detail in a future Dev Diary.
Additional mini-games
Which brings us back to that poster. Can you tell which occupation the number numbers correspond to?
Give a hint:
● Shaman is a dependable, tall man.
● Warlocks have horns and dragon wings.
● Soul master is half human and 1 meter tall.
